National ‘Active School Week’ takes place every April and is a really enjoyable part of the school year for many children.
This year, because of COVID-19, it is not possible for this to go ahead so the Tipperary Sports Partnership has asked schools to invite the families of our pupils to participate in the ‘Active HOME Week‘ challenge instead. Please see some resources attached and be sure to follow @activeflag on twitter for more ideas during the week.
In conjunction with this week Tipperary Sports Partnership is running an Active Home Week Challenge for Tipperary schools to be in with a chance to win €200 worth of sports equipment - always handy in school!
If you want to be part of this challenge please go to their social media channels facebook, twitter or instagram for further competition details. Tipperary Sports Partnership are asking families to tag Tipperary Sports Partnership in photos or videos telling how they are keeping active during active home week or send them to Tipperary Sports Partnership at info@tipperarysports.ie and state what school is being nominated to win the prize.
