As we know, wearing a face covering is another way we can help to protect ourselves from Covid-19. We have talked in class about how difficult it can be to read a person's facial expression when they are wearing a mask, and how it can be a barrier to getting to know the person inside. Many of the children said that they have been wearing them when out in public to help protect themselves and their families. We wanted to take a closer look at the person behind the mask and spent time working on this beautiful art activity, while listening to ‘Hall of Fame’ by The Script. We encouraged each other to always be proud of who we are and to strive for the best we can achieve, regardless of what others might say to try to bring us down.
