Celebrating our Graduation Class 2023

3rd Jul 2023

It is always bitter sweet to bid farewell to our 6th Class pupils. This year, in particular, our graduation class of 2023 have been outstanding leaders and mentors to our younger pupils. They have been involved in many school wide initiatives such as Engineering Week and Coding week, as well as Buddy reading and organising fundraising events such as our Dillon Quirke sports afternoon and our Christmas cake sale for Concern, as well as taking the lead in our End of Year Mass doing readings, prayers and the reflection.

In celebration of their achievements this year, the class were treated to a circus skills workshop from Fidget Feet in their last week with us. It was a smashing time out for the pupils and allowed them to spend some special time together before leaving Scoil Mhuire.

On the day of the holidays, each graduate was presented with a school pen by Mrs Tierney and treated to Graduation buns.  The Parent's Association made up goodie bags and a framed class photo for each pupil.  Mr Moran created a slideshow of photos of the class from over the 8 years of their primary school lives which brought lots of giggles and fond memories too.

We wish our Graduation class of 2023 the very best of luck as they begin their second level education. We hope you will continue to grow and excel as you have done here at Scoil Mhuire.

Go n-eirí go geal libh i gconaí Aaron, Adam, Cathal, Cian, Conor, Dominic, Jaime, Katelynn, Katie, Lily, Shane agus Tegan.
