On Friday 24th and Saturday 25th February, Knockavilla Donaskeigh GAA club and Dundrum Athletics club are hosting a 24hour Walk/Run in aid of the Dillon Quirke Foundation.
We in Scoil Mhuire were honoured to host our own 24 minutes of walking and running at the school after lunch on Friday 24th. 6th class pupils, co-ordinated by their Class Teacher Mr Moran, set up an obstacle course on the school pitch. All pupils and staff took part in this fun and enjoyable event to raise funds for such a worthy and relevant cause. Thank you to all the pupils, families and staff who supported our event which raised €335.30. This will be added to the donations at the main event taking place this weekend at the athletics track in Dundrum.
