In May the children in Second and Third Classes were nominated for 'School of the Year' in the Bord na Mona Eco Safari awards. The prize included a trip to Lough Boora Bog in Co Offaly.
The children had a fantastic day full of games and exploring, fishing and quizzes. We even got ice-cream!
