End of School-year in Rang a hAon agus Rang a Dó
Rang a hAon agus Rang a Dó made the most of the fabulous sunshine to finish off the school-year!
For our school tour we went to the Duckpond, or Marl Bog, and had a lovely day out learning about the different types of bugs, butterflies, plants and trees that live and grow there with Ms Healy and Ms O’ Dwyer. Ms Healy helped us to see fossils in the rocks at the carpark. Imagine being able to see plants and fish from thousand of years ago in Co Tipperary!
We used different identification keys and magnifying glasses to identify the different insects and creatures that live in the duck pond. It was very interesting to see all of the different types of animals that live in the water.
To finish off the day we had a lovely picnic in the sunshine. We were surprised with a present of ice cream from Ms O Dwyer before going back to the school! It was a great adventure!
Our Sports Day saw a rainbow of colours throughout the school with all of the different teams. We also wore sunglasses for Shades Day to raise money for Down Syndrome Tipperary. There were some very stylish sunglasses on show in Rang a hAon agus Rang a Dó!
What a lovely finish to the school year. Bainigí go léir taitneamh agus spraoi as na laethanta saoire!
