Our Parents’ Association have had a very busy term and thanks to your ongoing support and generosity have this year contributed €5500 to the school to help with the purchase of school equipment, specifically the much needed upgrade of a number of our whiteboards and projectors. Over the Easter holidays the annual Easter Walk took place and after the holidays they held another Cash for Clobber Collection. The committee provided refreshments after our First Holy Communion in May and again at the Open Afternoon for incoming Junior Infants in June, as well as the ice-cream treat at Sports Day. The grand finale of the year was no doubt the Summer Sizzler which raised a whopping €4105. Congratulations to all the lucky winners. Huge thanks to Patricia Burke, Chairperson, and all the members of the committee for volunteering their time and energy to the Association, which helps to enhance the lives of all our children here at KNS.
