5th and 6th class put their knowledge of lines and angles to the test recently as they completed their own novelty clocks. They spaced each hour 30° apart although some children decided to create clocks by the minute, each 6° apart.
Both classes also completed the 16 cardinal points of a compass, each 22.5° apart. They used the different points to identify countries around the world and then used their knowledge of lines of longitude and latitude to pinpoint these locations.
