The pupils in 4th class made the most of Science Week with experiments, facts of the day, word searches, crosswords and lots of fun!
We read about famous scientists and also the huge impact made by various Irish scientists over the years.
We studied the effect of vinegar on boiled eggs in our ‘Bouncy Egg’ experiments and created some really beautiful lava lamps using vegetable oil, food colouring and effervescent tablets.
Each pupil received a certificate at the end of the week to acknowledge their active participation and involvement in Science Week 2020.
