Junior and Senior Infants enjoyed lots of playful learning in the lead up to Halloween. The children enjoyed role-play in the witch's kitchen, made magic potions in the tuff tray, played Halloween bingo, created witch’s hats, cats and bats using black play dough and sponge painted Halloween pictures. We explored procedural writing, 'How to Make Chocolate Apples' and were very surprised when we then made them in school! Everyone had a super day on Friday when we came to school in our Halloween costumes and we really enjoyed playing Halloween games with Barry from Active Sports Coaching.
