Scoil Mhuire Sings for Eswatini
22nd Dec 2018
This year the Scoil Mhuire school choir was asked to join with 8 other Irish schools in putting together a CD to help make funds for the Eswatini School project. Our choir recorded ‘A Mhúirnín Íosa’. The Eswatini district is in Swaziland, Africa. An Irish priest Fr. Martin McCormack manages nine schools in Eswatini. One quarter of the 4000 children in these schools are orphans living in poverty. In the schools these children are fed twice daily.
The funds from this CD will go towards the education of these children. The CDs are available through the school office for €10.
