A dull day with rain threatening did not dampen the spirits of our Sports Day teams as they paraded to the field last Friday morning for a day of fun, games and ice cream. We were delighted to be joined by past pupil Caoimhe McCarthy who brought the Senior Camogie league trophy to the school. Caoimhe and Mr Moran spoke to the pupils and then Caoimhe presented medals to our victorious U11 Cumann na mBunscol hurling team. Ice cream always brings a smile and many thanks to the Parents Association for organising this annual treat. See our photo gallery below for a glimpse into our day.
