Scoil Mhuire KNS witnessed great drama on June 18th and 19th as both their U11 and U13 Camogie teams sought victory in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol finals held in Semple Stadium.
First up was the U11 final where the girls faced old adversaries Ardcroney NS for the second year in a row, Ardcroney having got the better of KNS in 2018. However, this year the girls were not to be denied and put in a great performance to emerge victorious. Congrats to all involved.
The next day, it was the U13 girls' turn as they took on Lissenhall NS in the U13 decider. Arriving at Semple Stadium, bright and early, spirits were high in anticipation of a great contest. Unfortunately though, despite the girls' best efforts, we were defeated by the narrowest of margins, 6 03 to 6 02. Well done to all involved and congrats to Lissenhall NS.
